FAQ
Does KubeDrive send my cluster data anywhere?
No. KubeDrive talks to your clusters directly from your Mac with your own credentials. Nothing
about your clusters, resources, logs or YAML is sent to us. The app connects to our server
(api.kubedrive.com) only to sign in and to renew a Pro or trial license, and checks GitHub for
updates if you allow it. See the privacy policy.
Which clusters does it work with?
Any Kubernetes cluster you can reach with kubectl: EKS, GKE, AKS, DigitalOcean, OpenShift,
Rancher, k3s, kind, minikube and others. KubeDrive uses your kubeconfig as it is.
Does it change my kubeconfig?
No. KubeDrive reads kubeconfig and never writes to it. Names you give clusters are kept in KubeDrive’s own settings.
Is there a Windows or Linux version?
Not yet. KubeDrive is macOS first; Windows and Linux are planned.
Do I need an account?
Only for Pro and the trial. The Free plan works without signing in.
How do I cancel Pro?
Use the link in your receipt from Paddle, our reseller. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. See the refund policy.
How do I report a bug?
Open an issue on GitHub.
